Rugby League in The Netherlands

The regular rugby competition will be finished shortly and then there's 4 months of nothingness. A waste of time to do nothing, get unfit and grow the inevitable belly. If we keep on training and playing we can start the new season fit and ready! During the summer break there is the possibility to keep on playing rugby, in the form of rugby league.
Rugby league is a growing sport in The Netherlands. Several internationals are being played each year. this year there's a tour to Czech Republic with Easter and possibly another one to Barcalona. A competition has been set up and I think it fun to send a Te Werve team down as well. During May there will be matches on Saturdays and on the 4th of July the Final, where we could win the Cup. We could keep on training on the Wednesday, but now for League. All are welcome for these sessions, and of course also for the games. players from other clubs, close to us, are welcome to join. we can register ourselves as a Te Werve team for 250 Euro, which is only a small amount for each player. Then we would need a team name as well, so you can start thinking about that one already.

If you want to join the Te Werve team, let me know, and I'll inform you when the training session will start. If we want to participate we need to register before March, so we need to act timely. My suggestion is that everybody who wants to join to let me know before the 25th of March, so I can make up the numbers.
Attached is an information letter in both Dutch and English. These will tell you what the general idea of the competition is and which dates have been picked for the matches.
I hope to hear of you soon, and don't forget to come with a suggestion for the team name!!
